Finity’s MD, Scott Collings, has announced the appointment of Andy Cohen as their new Chairman, replacing Tim Andrews who will be leaving the firm at the end of the year.
Announcing Andy’s appointment Finity Managing Director Scott Collings said “Andy’s experience and outstanding leadership qualities make him an excellent choice as Chairman of Finity. I look forward to the strong contribution Andy will undoubtedly make to our governance processes.”
“His appointment comes at an exciting time for the firm, as we continue to grow and broaden our consulting business.” In 2019, Finity acquired two new businesses – machine based learning and artificial intelligence analytics firm, Deep Logic and leading health insurance consulting firm, dbn Actuaries.
For more than a decade, in addition to being a trusted advisor to many of Finity’s long-standing clients, Andy has also been the curator and public face of Optima – Finity’s key ‘state of the industry’ publication which documents the performance of the Australian General Insurance industry. He has a great deal of practical experience to draw upon in helping to guide Finity in the years to come.
