The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) and Finity Consulting are pleased to announce submissions are open for the 2019 Peter Corrigan Scholarship for innovation and leadership.
The winner of the scholarship will be awarded up to $10,000 to attend an international conference or seminar that provides an industry or leadership-based professional development opportunity.
- A written submission of up to 1000 words, or
- A short video up to 5 minutes in length
- A voiceover of images in PowerPoint

Peter Corrigan was a highly respected figure in the Australian insurance industry who passed away suddenly in 2002. During his career, Peter held senior positions in many leading insurance organisations and was known for his people skills, down-to-earth manner and industry expertise.

This scholarship not only provides the winner the opportunity to increase their understanding of the industry but will also help them develop their professional network.”
The Peter Corrigan Scholarship is open to insurance professionals who are current financial members and who are permanent residents of Australia, New Zealand or a country in the Asia-Pacific region. Applicants must be currently working in the insurance industry.
Applications close at 5:00pm (AEST) on Tuesday 15 January 2019.
The 2019 recipient will be announced at the ANZIIF Insurtech Conference at Sofitel Sydney Wentworth on 26-27 February 2019.
