Our services

Finity’s experienced actuarial consultants have an unmatched breadth and depth of reserving experience across all general insurance classes including long tail, short tail, reinsurance and specialised lines of business.

In Australia, Finity performs reserving work for many APRA regulated insurers, and our consultants hold Appointed Actuary roles for over 30 of these. Our consultants have extensive experience in reserving for accident compensation schemes, and our asbestos team brings specialist expertise to the valuation of asbestos liabilities.

In New Zealand – where the licensing framework is in transition and the statutory Appointed Actuary role is being introduced – we offer New Zealand based services to our clients and already have two Appointed Actuary roles.

As well as primary reserving roles, Finity regularly undertakes peer review work, and we have more than ten formal External Peer Review appointments for APRA regulated insurers.
