Accident compensation throws up unique challenges. To ensure we are across all of the current issues we have dedicated teams focussing on CTP and workplace injuries. We move quickly on current issues – for example we have recently established a team which is examining the proposed NDIS, its younger sibling NIIS, and their potential impacts. At Finity we areactive in research and development in the accident compensation space, regularly producing papers and publications for conferences and trade journals.
In Australia our workers compensation roles include scheme actuary positions for a number of state schemes. In CTP we are advisors to statutory authorities, industry bodies and a number of private insurers. In New Zealand we work with both government and scheme on issues as broad as claims management, financial strategy and policy direction around competition.
