Finity's Charity Poker Challenge

Finity held its third Charity Poker Challenge on the 3rd September 2009 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Sydney. Overall ninety-six players enjoyed the friendly competitive spirit of the night and contributed to a total prize pool of $6,600 for charity.

Ammar Khan from Finity proved that there is such a thing as beginners luck, taking out first place in his very first game of Poker!  Ammar was playing for the Starlight Foundation who will receive $1,990.

Second place went to Scott Curley from Marsh, with $1,350 going to the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia. Third place, with $1,000 went to Keith Almeida from Finity who was playing for the Australian Cancer Research Foundation.

Other charities that benefited from the night were: UNICEF, Canteen, Youth off the Streets, Oxfam, Kidney Foundation, St Vincent de Paul, Garvan Institute and Foundation Diane.
