Steve is a Principal at Finity. He has had more than 20 years experience as a senior executive and consultant in insurance in both Australia and Asia. He is a deep domain specialist in strategy and operations for insurance risk business with an emphasis on risk management, governance, regulation and reinsurance.
Steve's key assignments / achievements include:
• Establishment of a new successful insurance consulting business in Japan
• Board and CEO advice on strategy, governance and risk management
• Regulatory advice and assistance with the regulatory process
• Financial, underwriting and operational risk analysis of general insurance companies
• Assisting general insurance companies in developing, documenting and implementing their corporate risk strategy and their reinsurance risk strategy
• Assisting the Federal Government prepare and administer insurance legislation, including the Insurance Act and the Insurance (Agents and Brokers) Act.
