David McNab is a Principal of Finity. He has over 10 years experience in the Australian general insurance industry and has also spent time working in the London general insurance market.
David has a wide range of experience in general insurance having worked for insurance companies, statutory authorities, corporations and medical defence organisations on issues including:
• Insurance Liability Valuations and Financial Condition advice
• Capital management issues such as decisions regarding levels of operating capital, optimising investment strategy and reinsurance structure
• Pricing for Personal and Commercial lines portfolios
• Estimation of workers compensation liabilities for self insured corporations, including those with Asbestos related exposures.
David also has a particular interest in the costs associated with weather related insurance events, climate change and natural climate cycles and has co-authored papers on these topics.
