Description of Relevant Experience
John is a Principal of Finity, focussing on supporting our New Zealand clients. He has had more than 20 years experience as a senior executive and consultant in insurance in New Zealand. He has held senior management roles in life and multi-line insurers.
John has a wide range of experience having worked on:

- Mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures
Prior to joining Finity John was the Company Actuary for Asteron, a member of the New Zealand senior management team and also a member of the Suncorp Life Asset Liability Committee. Before Asteron, John owned and operated an insurance brokerage and was CFO of Tower Health & Life and Tower Insurance.
John is active in the actuarial profession in New Zealand, being a member of the Professional Standards Committee of the Society of Actuaries and a former Council member.
