By November 6, 2017 News

Finity's MD, Scott Collings, has announced the appointment of Tim Andrews as our new Chairman replacing current Chairman, Colin Brigstock, who following a career of 42 years will retire at the end of 2017.

Commencing as Managing Director at the establishment of Finity in 2005, Colin subsequently moved into the Chairman role in 2007. Colin has been a key member of Finity’s leadership team and an integral part of Finity’s success both as a business and a place to work.  Colin has been an inspiration to his Finity colleagues and always in high demand as a trusted advisor to the general insurance industry.

Announcing Tim’s appointment, Finity Managing Director Scott Collings said, “Tim’s incredibly broad market experience and leadership qualities make him an excellent choice as Chairman of Finity. His appointment also comes at an exciting time for the firm, as we continue to grow and broaden our consulting business and as the demand for data analytics accelerates.”

“Colin has fulfilled the role of Chairman with distinction for the past ten years, and on behalf of Finity I thank him for his dedication and for his many achievements. He is one of the key reasons why Finity is now the largest independent actuarial and analytics firm in Australia and New Zealand, with over 135 staff and more than 250 clients. It’s a tough act to follow but I have no doubt that Tim will transition seamlessly into the Chairman’s role and ensure Finity continues to go from strength to strength,” said Scott.

“It is an honour to be appointed Chairman for a firm that I believe is set to achieve so much in the coming years. I look forward to continuing Colin’s focus on the needs of clients both within and outside of insurance as well as and the development of our younger people as we expand into new areas." said Tim.

Tim’s appointment is effective immediately.
