Exam Results and Qualifications

It has been a busy past couple of months for Finity in the Melbourne and the Sydney offices with exam results in, exam dares completed and professionalism courses attended.
Congratulations go to Ashish Ahluwalia who qualified as an FIAA by passing CAP, as well as Ben Wang, Amitoz Gill, Jonathon Hua, Simon Young, Keith Almeida, Mel Haymet, Michael Kwok, Pravesh Ponna, Mel Chan and Hecy Su for passing Part III subjects. In addition, Ryan Anderson, Jessie Wang and Peter Elkhouri successfully negotiated their Part I and II exams.
The traditional exam dares were carried out throughout exam results day, 23rd June 2010. Attendees were treated to a special guest appearance from Lady Gaga, aka Mel Haymet, with a Roman arm wrestler, aka Jonathon Hua, taking on passers by (with not much success). Amitoz, Simon, Michael and Pravesh also chipped in with some outlandish costumes, which added some colour and cheer to a miserable winter afternoon.
The highlight of the afternoon was the arrival of Ash, following his chest and leg wax. He did not disappoint, and was happy to pose for photos of his smooth, bright red torso.
In June 2010, Andrew Mackessack, Andrew Scholes, Ben Wang and Sonia Tripolitano attended the Professionalism Course in Melbourne. Following a range of presentations and discussions over a jam-packed two day program, Andrew M, Andrew S, Ben and Sonia can now proudly call themselves Actuaries! Simon is also now an Actuary having completed the Professionalism Course in Sydney in August.
